[00:00:06] It's a shadow, like a black shadow, and it's a woman leaving.

[00:00:18] Welcome to Tell Me A Ghost Story, the late night call-in podcast where we delve into the world of the supernatural and explore the eerie and unexplained.

[00:00:30] I'm your host, Michelle Newman. This podcast features true stories from our callers that will send shivers down your spine and leave you questioning the existence of the afterlife.

[00:00:45] So grab a cozy blanket, turn down the lights.

[00:00:52] Hey Michelle, my name is Rock. I live here in Orange County and I have a good story to share with you. I have many.

[00:01:01] So, my parents used to own a house here in Fontana and it was fairly new and I can give out the exact location, it's off the summit.

[00:01:09] And it was very eerie from the get-go. And mind you, I'm an intuitive person, so fast forward, we move into the house.

[00:01:18] And when we lived in this house specifically, then we were hearing creaking noises.

[00:01:24] It sounded like people were walking on the roof and there were things falling on the ceiling.

[00:01:30] And my parents always disregarded it.

[00:01:33] So, a couple years we're jumping forward and we just had a series of like unfortunate events.

[00:01:40] And it was just one thing after another. My grandparents had passed away.

[00:01:44] All my animals, they would not even last like a year.

[00:01:47] There was always something happening with my animals.

[00:01:49] And mind you, I went through like 50. It's just insane.

[00:01:51] Like I had rabbits, I had birds. I couldn't really keep them alive.

[00:01:56] I was going through a rough time with my ex.

[00:01:59] And he really wasn't like the type of person to believe in the paranormal.

[00:02:06] So, one day, I hear my mom in her room.

[00:02:09] So, I go in there and I'm like, hey mom, you know, what's going on?

[00:02:14] And I see her sitting on the edge of the bed and she's just crying hysterically.

[00:02:18] And it sounded like someone had just died.

[00:02:21] So, I'm trying to re-console her by patting her on her back, you know, brushing her hair.

[00:02:25] And all of a sudden, her crying stops.

[00:02:29] Then, she starts cackling and she starts laughing.

[00:02:32] And she's like...

[00:02:39] And then the laugh started becoming like more louder and louder as it was echoing throughout the whole room.

[00:02:44] And it was just so insane because I'm like, who the hell is this person?

[00:02:50] And I'm like, why are you crying? Why are you laughing?

[00:02:53] So, I reach over and move her hair out of her face.

[00:02:56] And her face was scorched.

[00:02:58] It looked like someone had threw acid on her face.

[00:03:00] Like her eyes were white and she was just cackling.

[00:03:03] And then she vanished in front of me.

[00:03:09] So, mind you, we also have like a little goldfish in the corner at the time.

[00:03:13] I bought for my little sister and her name was Dorothy.

[00:03:16] And my sister loved her kid up.

[00:03:19] So, mind you, my mom and dad were out at Costco.

[00:03:21] I'm freaking out because I can't explain where the hell this woman went.

[00:03:25] It wasn't even my mother.

[00:03:26] And I just kept hearing her laughing and cackling, echoing throughout her whole room.

[00:03:30] I called my mom and I said, hey, where are you at?

[00:03:33] And she's like, I'm at Costco with your dad. Why?

[00:03:35] And I said, well, I just saw you in the room.

[00:03:37] And she was like, that's impossible. I'm not home.

[00:03:40] And run over to my room where my ex was getting ready.

[00:03:42] And I told him, I was like, hey.

[00:03:44] I was like, my mom was in the room, but it wasn't my mom.

[00:03:47] And he didn't believe me.

[00:03:48] So, he ran into the room.

[00:03:50] And then he heard the same thing.

[00:03:52] And he said that he saw my mom and she was standing in the corner crying and she had her hair over her face like the grudge.

[00:03:59] And then, as she was crying, he went and touched her and she was just cackling.

[00:04:04] And he comes running and I said, what happened?

[00:04:06] And he goes, holy ****.

[00:04:07] And I said, I told you so.

[00:04:10] So, I waited an hour to go in her room.

[00:04:14] And as I go to her room, I see this figure sticking her hand in the goldfish tank, like squeezing the hell out of it.

[00:04:21] And you just see this woman just laughing and cackling.

[00:04:24] So, I said, you know what?

[00:04:25] You need to leave my sister's goldfish alone.

[00:04:27] You need to get the hell out of here.

[00:04:28] It disappeared.

[00:04:29] Surprisingly, the fish survived.

[00:04:31] And I had met one of my friends.

[00:04:34] And her mother told me that I should gather 50 candles in a tray and light it overnight and toss it in a river bay.

[00:04:45] So, I did as instructed.

[00:04:46] And as I lit these candles in the middle of the night, there was like so much shadows flying throughout the wall in the house.

[00:04:53] So, it was the next day where I had to gather the candles and I told them that actually we need to go to Lido Creek.

[00:05:00] And you guys know about Lido Creek.

[00:05:03] It's super active there.

[00:05:04] And so, I went, got the candles, put it in a bag, and I tossed it in the river bank as I was told.

[00:05:10] So, I went back home, didn't think nothing of it.

[00:05:13] And it was just like the week of my sister's birthday.

[00:05:15] And her birthday is around this time in December.

[00:05:19] So, my mom is telling my ex and I to go ahead and clean the garage because we're having her birthday party.

[00:05:26] And as I was cleaning the garage, the cement was all wet.

[00:05:31] And all of a sudden, a little girl, the footprint started appearing.

[00:05:37] So, I told my ex, I was like, hey, this is weird.

[00:05:40] There's a footprint on the floor.

[00:05:41] And there's no way that my sister could possibly have stepped foot in the garage because she was about two years old at the time.

[00:05:47] And mind you, this was like the size of a four year old or five year old's footprint.

[00:05:51] So, as I'm cleaning the garage, I look over to, I pull up the blinds in the window.

[00:05:56] And as I pulled up, we see nothing but little kids' handprints and footprints on the window.

[00:06:03] So, I ran to my mom and I told her, I was like, hey, look at this.

[00:06:05] And my mom was like, what the hell?

[00:06:07] Like, whose footprints and handprints are those?

[00:06:09] And she looked at the ground where the cement was.

[00:06:13] Somebody had walked towards the door.

[00:06:15] And my mom goes, okay, that's totally weird.

[00:06:18] So, my mom started seeing a little girl with a little Victorian dress with baby doll socks and baby doll hair.

[00:06:23] And she said that she would always follow my sister.

[00:06:26] But my sister always had the most craziest experiences living in the house.

[00:06:31] And even all my friends that I grew up in high school were even like, who is your sister talking to?

[00:06:36] Or they would say, and I told them, I was like, oh, it's a little girl, Sophia.

[00:06:39] And they said, who's Sophia?

[00:06:40] And I said, well, she's my sister's imaginary friend.

[00:06:42] But check this out.

[00:06:44] So, I did my research about the Water Creek.

[00:06:50] And apparently, there was a little girl named Sophia whose father took her to the Water Creek and unaligned her.

[00:06:57] And this was back in the day.

[00:07:01] So, one day, my little sister was missing in the middle of the night.

[00:07:07] And my mom went in my room and she was panicking and she was screaming.

[00:07:10] She's like, where's your sister?

[00:07:13] Where is she at?

[00:07:14] Like, I can't find her.

[00:07:16] We're just going to call her Annie.

[00:07:17] Well, like, we can't find Annie.

[00:07:18] Where the heck is she at?

[00:07:19] And we hear her, but we couldn't see her.

[00:07:22] And mind you, my mom had a cow king sized bed.

[00:07:25] So, we just kept hearing giggling.

[00:07:27] Like, a little girl's giggle and my sister's giggling.

[00:07:29] And we're looking under the bed and there's no one there.

[00:07:32] So, I told my mom, I was like, look under the bed again.

[00:07:35] What do we have to do at the same time?

[00:07:37] So, we both looked under the bed at the same time.

[00:07:39] And my sister was in the farthest corner of the bed.

[00:07:43] And there was a dark figure next to her laughing.

[00:07:46] Oh, ho, ho, ho, ho.

[00:07:48] And my dad goes and drives my sister and says, you don't need to do that.

[00:07:52] And my mom's like crying and screaming.

[00:07:53] And she's like, what the hell?

[00:07:54] You know?

[00:07:55] And she's yelling at the air.

[00:07:56] She's like, you need to leave my daughter alone.

[00:07:58] And I told my mom, I said, well, remember,

[00:08:03] she had a little imaginary friend named Sophia.

[00:08:05] And I told my mom, like, you really need to not let her play with this entity

[00:08:09] because we don't even know if it's an actual girl, especially how active the house is.

[00:08:14] So, my mom had called in a priest.

[00:08:17] It didn't even work.

[00:08:18] So, she called it again.

[00:08:20] She called a Catholic priest to come in to bless the house.

[00:08:23] Nothing happened.

[00:08:23] So, she called Indian priest.

[00:08:26] And they did the traditional, like, ceremonies.

[00:08:29] And they, you know, blessed open a coconut.

[00:08:31] That's what you do to, you know, to expolive negative energies.

[00:08:35] And that didn't work either.

[00:08:36] So, I took it in a matter of my own hands.

[00:08:38] And using my native side, I used sage.

[00:08:41] And I smudged it in my house every, almost every single day.

[00:08:43] Basically commanded Sophia to leave.

[00:08:45] And she was completely gone.

[00:08:47] So, I hope you guys liked the story.

[00:08:49] I hope you enjoyed this.

[00:08:50] I had plenty more stories to tell as well.

[00:08:53] And that is my story of Sophia.

[00:08:59] Rock, thank you for your story.

[00:09:03] Intuitively, do you think Sophia and your mom's doppelganger were the same spirits?

[00:09:08] Or do you believe that banishing the first spirit allowed Sophia to follow you home from the river?

[00:09:15] Send in more stories.

[00:09:17] I'd love to hear them.

[00:09:20] I've experienced a lot of paranormal things in my life.

[00:09:24] But one of the more recent tales that sticks with me is that I was working a job as a photographer in my boss's house.

[00:09:33] And this house was decorated with things from the store home goods.

[00:09:39] You know, the stuff that you walk into that store and you're like, who buys that?

[00:09:45] Basically, this guy buys it.

[00:09:48] Yeah, I'm talking floor to ceiling, floor to lease.

[00:09:50] I'm talking fake food set out on a banquet table.

[00:09:54] So you could have a fake dessert party.

[00:09:58] Um, there was, it was, it was an odd place.

[00:10:01] It was an odd place.

[00:10:02] And there were three staircases.

[00:10:04] One in the middle and then two going up on the right and the left side.

[00:10:08] And I was standing there on one of the staircases with my camera.

[00:10:13] And then all of a sudden, I felt someone rush up behind me.

[00:10:21] Like if someone was sprinting really, really fast and then just stopped right behind you.

[00:10:28] And I just thought that was, that was weird.

[00:10:31] It really, it felt like a person.

[00:10:33] I've never felt that feeling before and turned around and had no one there.

[00:10:39] And so anyway, I didn't mention it to anybody.

[00:10:42] And I just went on.

[00:10:43] We were finishing the job.

[00:10:45] My boss had sent his assistant out to grab some sandwiches.

[00:10:48] And there was an alarm in the driveway that, that let people know when people arrived.

[00:10:54] It's just like a bell, like a doorbell.

[00:10:56] And so, you know, he left.

[00:11:00] It made a little noise.

[00:11:02] You know, he was gone for a while.

[00:11:04] It was like a half an hour and we're just killing time.

[00:11:07] And then all of a sudden the driveway bell starts going off again.

[00:11:12] And he's not back.

[00:11:13] And it just keeps going off and going off.

[00:11:15] I mean, we were just sitting there being like, what is that?

[00:11:20] And then my boss was like, oh, don't worry about it.

[00:11:24] That's just our ghost Lola.

[00:11:31] Anyway, next message.

[00:11:36] Hi, this is Nellie from Clinton, Illinois.

[00:11:39] I have a few ghost stories, but this is going to be the first one.

[00:11:44] They're all from when I was a little girl and I lived in Chicago.

[00:11:48] So we lived in the house.

[00:11:53] And in that house, supposedly the realtor told my parents, actually this was when I was like 12 years old.

[00:12:03] But the realtor told my parents that an older woman, elderly lady passed away in that house.

[00:12:11] So on this night, my brother and I, we shared the same bedroom.

[00:12:17] So my brother's bed was on one side of my bed was on the right side of the room.

[00:12:23] And my parents, they were in their own bedroom and they always had the door locked.

[00:12:30] And on this night, I was sleeping.

[00:12:36] And usually I will sleep with my head covered.

[00:12:39] I don't know why.

[00:12:41] I guess it was just, it offers comfort.

[00:12:46] But I remember hearing a woman weeping like close to my bed.

[00:12:56] Like it was just standing on my bed facing me.

[00:13:01] And it was just weeping, like going like, like kind of like weeping like that.

[00:13:06] And I opened my eyes and I only see like the shadow.

[00:13:12] I don't see like, it's a shadow, like a black shadow.

[00:13:18] And it's a woman weeping.

[00:13:21] And I know it's on my mom because it did not sound like my mom.

[00:13:24] So it was just scary.

[00:13:28] And I immediately like covered my head and I just stayed there.

[00:13:35] And I remember just closing my eyes.

[00:13:38] And yeah, I don't remember hearing it anymore.

[00:13:42] But it was so scary because I was like, what the heck was that?

[00:13:47] So, and I know for sure it was not my brother, definitely not my brother.

[00:13:51] So who knows?

[00:13:56] Thank you for calling, Nellie.

[00:13:58] And please call in with more of your stories.

[00:14:01] I can't wait to hear them.

[00:14:02] I've experienced a crying ghost myself.

[00:14:06] And I told the story on an episode of Scary FM's True Scary Story.

[00:14:10] It's called Lady of the Desert.

[00:14:12] Go check it out if you want to hear it.

[00:14:15] And it's interesting, there is crying ghost lore from all over the world.

[00:14:19] From the Banshee to La Llorona.

[00:14:21] Maybe that old woman just wanted some attention.

[00:14:26] Or maybe it was a warning.

[00:14:29] I'm sorry.

[00:14:30] Hi Michelle, it's me again.

[00:14:32] Yvonne from the Philippines.

[00:14:33] I just wanted to share a short story that happened way back when I was still living with my parents and my brother.

[00:14:42] I was possibly like 16, 18 years old.

[00:14:46] Late 2000 when this happened.

[00:14:49] And it was possibly like 5pm to 7pm.

[00:14:54] Just a little context before this happened.

[00:14:59] I like and enjoy scaring my brother.

[00:15:03] I know.

[00:15:04] It sounds cruel but I like hiding and just popping out of nowhere and just scaring.

[00:15:11] The bejesus at him.

[00:15:14] So he in turn, as a revenge tries to do it.

[00:15:19] But more often than not I catch him in the act even before he gets to scare me.

[00:15:24] Because he's a really big boy at that time even at his age.

[00:15:28] So we can actually see him in the corner of your eye whenever he does something.

[00:15:35] So, given that the lights were off in my room and the only source of light was outside of my bedroom door, which was coming from the living room dining room.

[00:15:45] Anybody who would walk past the door would cast a shadow.

[00:15:50] Or I would see their silhouette.

[00:15:54] So, while I was sitting down, I noticed him, my brother, walk in.

[00:15:59] And although I couldn't really actually see his face, I know it was him.

[00:16:04] It was shaped as him, a little boy.

[00:16:07] And he was just walking slowly.

[00:16:11] And he stopped to the foot of my bed, still thinking I couldn't see him.

[00:16:17] And he just stuck down.

[00:16:20] I wanted to give him better than doubt but I had to tell him off because I really needed that time alone at that point.

[00:16:28] I can't remember why but I was asking him to stop.

[00:16:31] I told him, I saw you.

[00:16:34] It's okay.

[00:16:35] You can get out of the room now.

[00:16:36] It's fine.

[00:16:38] And he wouldn't respond.

[00:16:41] And I think maybe he was thinking that I would check so it could scare me.

[00:16:46] But I was a little bit impatient at that point.

[00:16:49] So I was like a little bit annoyed and asked him to get out of the room.

[00:16:53] And he still wanted lunch.

[00:16:56] So I had no choice but to peep down with the foot of the bed to see and asking him to go away.

[00:17:05] When it peeped down, he wasn't there.

[00:17:13] So logically you would think, check under the bed.

[00:17:17] He's under the bed.

[00:17:19] There's no way for him to fit there.

[00:17:22] Because under the bed are boxes and boxes and boxes of his toys.

[00:17:29] It's basically the storage of all his toys.

[00:17:34] So there's no way that he would fit there.

[00:17:36] But I still checked because I couldn't understand how he could just disappear after seeing him a few seconds ago.

[00:17:45] Just ducking down and hiding there.

[00:17:47] So I checked every corner, possibly where it could fit.

[00:17:52] I can't see him.

[00:17:53] So my only option was to just tell on him.

[00:17:57] So I just yelled out to mom and told her,

[00:18:02] Do you want to leave me alone?

[00:18:03] Please ask him to stop.

[00:18:05] Stuff like that.

[00:18:07] And when I looked up to look at my mom,

[00:18:11] she had this really confused face.

[00:18:14] Like, what are you talking about?

[00:18:16] And then she told me,

[00:18:19] You do know that your brother is not at home.

[00:18:23] And he hasn't come back home since his afternoon.

[00:18:28] And that was when I deduced that I saw something else.

[00:18:36] Thanks again, Yvonne, for another spooky treat.

[00:18:40] Keep those stories coming.

[00:18:43] Hey, Michelle.

[00:18:44] Edwin here from Los Angeles, California.

[00:18:48] And I want to tell the story of when I first moved into a house when I was a kid.

[00:18:54] By the way, my family and I used to live in apartments for pretty much all of my childhood.

[00:18:59] So when I was like eight or nine around that age,

[00:19:03] I was really excited to move into a house because I was going to be able to have a dog,

[00:19:07] you know, have a backyard and we had trees.

[00:19:10] You know, it was cool.

[00:19:12] And I was finally going to be able to have that.

[00:19:16] And, but you know, after moving in, we started experiencing strange things in the house.

[00:19:22] And I think they started with me.

[00:19:27] I went, I was in the bathroom and I had just gotten in.

[00:19:31] I just shut the door.

[00:19:32] I look up toward the corner of the bathroom and there is this jacket looking towel floating in the corner of the bathroom.

[00:19:43] It was dark blue, like a very dark, dark color.

[00:19:47] And as soon as I saw it, I kind of froze for a bit.

[00:19:51] I was thinking like, what is that? Right.

[00:19:53] Does it make any sense?

[00:19:54] And I just took off running.

[00:19:56] Like I just ran down the hall.

[00:19:59] And as I was running through my dad, he's like, hey, like what happened?

[00:20:04] And I told him, like, I just saw something in the corner of the bathroom.

[00:20:08] And he was like, well, that's, that's weird.

[00:20:11] He believes me, right?

[00:20:12] Like whenever I would tell him something like that, like some odd things, he would, he would believe them.

[00:20:17] And I wouldn't tell him that many things because it was just like, you know, it was just like, oh, if you ever see a ghost talk to it or, or it's not a big deal.

[00:20:25] There's nothing to be afraid of.

[00:20:26] You know, I actually felt like hurt as a kid when it came to that kind of stuff.

[00:20:31] But anyway, this time I had actually seen something and she said, like, let's go check it out.

[00:20:38] So he went with me and we looked around.

[00:20:41] There wasn't anything there.

[00:20:44] After that, my dad called me to the front.

[00:20:48] This was maybe the next day or later that day.

[00:20:51] It's hard for me to remember, but it was around that same week when he called me to the front of the yard.

[00:20:56] Like they were fixing, you know, the fence and doing a lot of new things when you get to a new house, you know, fixing things or fixing the garden or anyway.

[00:21:07] He tells me, look at this.

[00:21:09] And he points to the in the front gate, like in the there's a gate to get into the backyard.

[00:21:16] Right there was this red balloon.

[00:21:20] Like it was a small imagine like a water balloon.

[00:21:23] It's red, like a rubbery looking ball.

[00:21:29] And my dad grabs a lighter and just lights it on fire.

[00:21:34] This is weird.

[00:21:35] I don't know.

[00:21:35] He's poking at it.

[00:21:36] He's trying to figure it out, too.

[00:21:37] You can tell he doesn't know what it is.

[00:21:39] It starts kind of dissolve, not dissolving, but like the outer layer layer starts peeling off on its own.

[00:21:46] And then on the inside, there was this like I would call it a rice crispy texture.

[00:21:52] Like you look like that.

[00:21:53] I didn't touch it like a like a white dried rice looking stuff.

[00:21:59] And it was just itself.

[00:22:01] It was burning up.

[00:22:02] It was just like there was no smoke to it.

[00:22:03] Nothing was just kind of fading.

[00:22:05] Like it was just kind of disappearing there.

[00:22:07] At the very inside, there's this coin right in the center.

[00:22:12] Like it's just like this old coin.

[00:22:14] It wasn't a quarter.

[00:22:15] It wasn't a penny.

[00:22:15] It wasn't like a coin that I was familiar with.

[00:22:18] It was just this thing there.

[00:22:21] But that kind of looks at it.

[00:22:22] He picks up the coin and he's just like, look at that.

[00:22:25] That's that's weird.

[00:22:26] And he just kind of doesn't explain anything.

[00:22:28] Doesn't do anything.

[00:22:29] He just kind of looks at it.

[00:22:31] And that's all I remember from that.

[00:22:34] And I remember searching around for a long time, trying to find out what that is, like what that was.

[00:22:43] Eventually, listening to a scary story from somebody, she's you know, I just asked because they said, oh, you know, she's familiar with all these objects.

[00:22:51] And and it turned out to be, well, she said that if it's a rice thing, it's a good luck thing.

[00:22:57] But if it's, you know, you see coins or you see things like that, it might mean something else.

[00:23:04] Now, obviously, that didn't give me any clarity at all as to what this thing was.

[00:23:08] And I'm still wondering what it could be.

[00:23:12] It is strange because at the time other things were going on like the cat.

[00:23:17] I mean, I don't know if they're related, but we would see, for example, dead birds, dead birds in the corners of the house, like actual corners of the property.

[00:23:27] And it was odd, right?

[00:23:28] Because you're like, why are there dead birds here?

[00:23:30] Like, are the cats really that wild?

[00:23:32] Like, are they hunting and leaving the birds here?

[00:23:35] You know, you're not familiar with it's a lot bigger, right?

[00:23:38] You're not familiar with all having all that open space.

[00:23:42] So I remember, like, sometimes my dad and, you know, my mom, too, like she would say, like, why were you up so late?

[00:23:50] Or, you know, kind of all these things.

[00:23:54] I mean, I used to say, like, it wasn't me in the middle of the night, but but she would hear all these these noises and I would hear them, too.

[00:24:01] But I wasn't trying to, you know, like I didn't want to.

[00:24:06] I don't know.

[00:24:06] I guess in my mind, I thought that if I imagined that the place was haunted, it would be haunted.

[00:24:12] So I didn't want that because it was a new house and I was excited about it, too.

[00:24:18] Eventually, five years later, like things were, you know, around the house, it kind of died down.

[00:24:23] There wasn't any what I would call paranormal activity.

[00:24:27] I mean, I never thought the house was actually haunted, haunted, but there were strange little quirks about it.

[00:24:32] And one night I was trying to go to sleep.

[00:24:35] I was around 13 at the time, maybe 14.

[00:24:37] I was in high school already.

[00:24:40] And there was this flash of light coming from the closet.

[00:24:46] What I remember, and I still remember this vividly, was that it felt like a helicopter, like a search chopper, like a helicopter shining its bright light right at you through a window.

[00:24:58] That's what it looked like.

[00:25:00] It was this windy.

[00:25:02] It was this just a big dramatic scene of a bright light and just a lot of wind coming at you.

[00:25:10] And I remember screaming.

[00:25:12] This is the first time I actually do this.

[00:25:14] I remember screaming.

[00:25:17] My dad came running in through the, you know, open the door.

[00:25:21] He's like, what's wrong?

[00:25:24] And I explained to him, I just saw this thing.

[00:25:27] Like there was this bright, bright light coming from the closet.

[00:25:31] I don't know what it is.

[00:25:32] I was freaking out.

[00:25:33] The lights were on the whole night.

[00:25:34] I didn't go to sleep at all.

[00:25:38] And we never really sorted it out.

[00:25:41] But after that, I think that was a culmination.

[00:25:44] I think that's where everything kind of ended because we never really experienced anything after that.

[00:25:49] Now, my theories go into aliens.

[00:25:51] They go into, you know, I used to have a lot of, you know, magazines and stories of ghosts and paranormal in the closet in a box.

[00:26:00] Eventually, my mom got rid of my ghost stories books.

[00:26:03] But everything calmed down.

[00:26:05] The house has been pretty, pretty chill since.

[00:26:08] Thank you, Edwin, for sharing your story.

[00:26:12] Does anyone else get the feeling that maybe Edwin's dad knew more than he was saying?

[00:26:18] I'd be curious about his experiences in that house and beyond.
