[00:00:05] I heard her whisper, she's seeing stuff too. And that's when it all started for me.

[00:00:22] Welcome to Tell Me A Ghost Story, the late night call-in podcast where we delve into the world of the supernatural and explore the eerie and unexplained.

[00:00:34] I'm your host, Michelle Newman. This podcast features true stories from our callers that will send shivers down your spine and leave you questioning the existence of the afterlife.

[00:00:49] So grab a cozy blanket, turn down the lights.

[00:00:57] My name is Tyler from Ohio.

[00:00:58] So I was an ICU nurse and I worked a night shift, 7P to 7A.

[00:01:06] And one night I had a patient in the very back last room of the unit.

[00:01:15] It used to be an office and they had transitioned it into more patient rooms.

[00:01:22] So when I went in the night, everything was normal.

[00:01:26] I was taking care of an elderly female.

[00:01:34] And around midnight or so, I had to go back in the room and I was speaking with a patient.

[00:01:42] And she said, I was standing at the computer and there was chairs and the corner was behind me.

[00:01:48] And she said, I was just talking to her about the day.

[00:01:51] And she mentioned something about a man in a black suit behind me.

[00:02:00] They're sitting in the corner.

[00:02:04] So naturally, I was curious.

[00:02:06] So I asked her, I said, are you seeing them right now?

[00:02:10] Are they related to you?

[00:02:12] Is this a family member?

[00:02:13] She said, no, no, I don't know them.

[00:02:15] He's been here with me all day.

[00:02:18] And I asked her to describe him to me.

[00:02:20] And she said, it's just a tall man in a black suit.

[00:02:25] He's been sitting here with me all day.

[00:02:26] He's sitting in the corner right now.

[00:02:31] And, I mean, needless to say, I got chills pretty quickly.

[00:02:35] You know, I'm looking behind me.

[00:02:38] And I asked her, have you spoke to him or has he said anything?

[00:02:42] And she said, no, he's just been sitting here with me all day long.

[00:02:47] So I said, okay.

[00:02:48] And I asked her if there was anything else she needed.

[00:02:50] And then, no, she was fine.

[00:02:52] So I went along with my shift.

[00:02:54] Nothing else really notable happened.

[00:02:57] And not while I was on shift.

[00:02:59] Next time I was back, I asked the staff, you know, and checked to see what happened with that patient.

[00:03:06] And they said that it was probably a day or so after when I saw her that she had passed away.

[00:03:16] I've had several encounters like that where family members in the ICU or in the hospital that are nearing death will witness their mothers, their fathers, or family members.

[00:03:33] And every time I would ask them, oh, did they come and visit you today?

[00:03:39] Or are they still alive?

[00:03:40] Are they still with us?

[00:03:41] No, they've passed.

[00:03:43] That was a common occurrence in that, in the hospital, in the ICU.

[00:03:49] So, yeah, very creepy.

[00:03:53] That was one of the more uneasy moments that I've had in the hospital.

[00:03:58] Thanks.

[00:04:00] Thank you, Tyler from Ohio.

[00:04:03] You know what's interesting?

[00:04:05] When my grandmother was in hospice, she said she was being visited by someone she called the metaphysicist,

[00:04:13] who would come and fly around the corners of her room.

[00:04:17] Within a few days, she'd passed away.

[00:04:21] I wonder if the metaphysicist was wearing a black suit.

[00:04:26] Next message.

[00:04:27] Hi, this is Nellie again from Clinton, Illinois.

[00:04:33] And this is my other story.

[00:04:38] It occurred also at the same house that we were living in.

[00:04:43] The second time that something strange happened to me was actually, I actually had my own bedroom at that time.

[00:04:54] It was a tiny bedroom, and I remember I took a nap.

[00:05:03] It was a long nap, so I woke up in the middle of the night, and the kitchen light was on.

[00:05:10] And I found it strange because I checked the time, and it said, it was like around 1 a.m. around that time.

[00:05:18] I don't clearly remember.

[00:05:21] And the strangest thing is that the kitchen light was on, and I remember I got up, and I said, Mom.

[00:05:31] And no one replied, but I heard, like, I can clearly hear something going on in the kitchen, like stuff moving around.

[00:05:41] It sounded more like glasses moving, but when I took a peek in the kitchen, no one was there.

[00:05:51] And I found it strange because my parents' bedroom door was closed, and my brother's bedroom was also closed.

[00:06:04] So it was just me, and I can clearly hear glasses moving, like something is going on in the kitchen, and the light was on.

[00:06:17] And I automatically felt like also when I saw that, like chills.

[00:06:23] I just knew something was wrong, and I thought that that's not normal.

[00:06:28] Everyone was in their bedroom sleeping, and this is going on in the kitchen.

[00:06:34] So I just went back to bed.

[00:06:37] I didn't want to deal with this.

[00:06:40] Thank you, Nellie.

[00:06:42] I can't help but think of that old song lyric.

[00:06:45] Someone's in the kitchen with Dinah.

[00:06:49] Someone's in the kitchen, I know.

[00:06:53] But who is in the kitchen?

[00:06:56] Or what?

[00:07:00] Next caller.

[00:07:03] Hey, Michelle.

[00:07:04] It's Maggie from your hometown.

[00:07:06] I have very weird dreams all the time.

[00:07:09] Like, all the time.

[00:07:10] And one night, about 15, 16 years ago, I had a dream where I was in a coffee shop.

[00:07:19] And I was standing in line with all the other customers, and I turned around, and my friend Liz was standing behind me.

[00:07:25] And she was radiant.

[00:07:28] She had a big beaming smile on her face, and she was wearing a black coat with big red roses, like all over it.

[00:07:34] And she just looked absolutely beautiful.

[00:07:36] And I turned around, and I went, Liz, oh, my God, I miss you.

[00:07:39] I love you.

[00:07:39] And I grabbed her, and I hugged her.

[00:07:41] And I just felt her so real and so near to me.

[00:07:45] I just held her to my chest, and I felt all this love flowing from her.

[00:07:49] Like she was okay, and she was at peace, and she was happy.

[00:07:52] And I just kept telling her that I loved her, but she didn't say anything in return.

[00:07:56] And then, like, it was my turn to order.

[00:07:58] And so when I turned around to the coffee counter and then looked back, Liz was gone, and then the dream shifted into something else.

[00:08:05] So a few days later, about a week later, I found out that a couple nights before I had had that dream, Liz had died in a car crash.

[00:08:15] She was in Panama, and she was driving around late at night with friends, and their car went over an unmarked cliff.

[00:08:21] And that was the end of my sweet friends, so I firmly believe that that was her coming to say goodbye to me.

[00:08:28] And I will just never forget that dream, and I'll never forget how beautiful and peaceful she was.

[00:08:34] And I also learned that her middle name was Rose, which was something that I hadn't known before.

[00:08:40] And so, yeah, I believe she was there to say goodbye and to let me know that she was okay, even though I wasn't aware yet that she was gone.

[00:08:48] And that's my story, and I will talk to you later. Bye.

[00:08:56] Thank you, Maggie, for calling in.

[00:08:59] Liz, I'm sure you are still radiant wherever you are.

[00:09:07] Hi, Michelle. It's me again, Yvonne, from the Philippines.

[00:09:11] And I'm back to share you one of my early memories of the paranormal.

[00:09:18] And come to think of it, the situation itself could actually also be a possible glitch in the matrix, but I'll let you decide.

[00:09:27] So I just want to set the scene.

[00:09:29] It was late 2000, around 2002, because that was the year that my brother was born, my brother Gio.

[00:09:37] And he was just a few months old.

[00:09:39] And we were left home, at home, because my parents had to do their side hustle.

[00:09:47] So I was left to watch over him.

[00:09:51] So anyway, the apartment is a two-bedroom apartment located on the second floor.

[00:09:55] Both of the rooms are adjacent to each other.

[00:09:59] And in front of the room would be our living room slash dining room.

[00:10:07] And then just a few steps away from the living room slash dining room would be the kitchen.

[00:10:12] And then right next to that, to the right, will be the bathroom.

[00:10:14] So it's a small two-bedroom apartment, perfect for four people.

[00:10:19] My mom, my dad, and me, and my brother.

[00:10:23] And I was sleeping.

[00:10:25] I'm sick and nap.

[00:10:26] I woke up possibly around 5 p.m., 6 p.m. to the sound of my mom's voice.

[00:10:33] And then I just opened my eyes.

[00:10:35] It was a bit blurry because I just woke up.

[00:10:37] And I could actually see her.

[00:10:39] I could also hear my dad's voice.

[00:10:42] I couldn't see him.

[00:10:43] I only heard his voice.

[00:10:45] I heard him asking for change from my mom.

[00:10:48] So what I could see from when I woke up, from when I heard her, she wasn't facing me.

[00:10:53] She was facing out the door talking to my dad.

[00:10:55] She had her hair and a braid.

[00:10:58] I think she was wearing a gray shirt or a white shirt.

[00:11:02] Floral short shorts.

[00:11:04] I know it was her because that was exactly what she wore when she left that day.

[00:11:09] It was a weekend.

[00:11:12] Anyway, she was grabbing her purse from back of the cabinet and then talked to my dad.

[00:11:21] So I was still waking myself up.

[00:11:22] I was waiting for them to stop talking or stop having a conversation.

[00:11:27] And then I just heard my dad walk out the front door.

[00:11:31] I could still hear the car engine in the background when this was happening.

[00:11:37] So I was like, Mom.

[00:11:39] I was whispering to her to get her attention.

[00:11:43] But I couldn't speak out loud because we were louder than that.

[00:11:48] Another kid's movie over there was sleeping right next to me.

[00:11:50] I wouldn't want to wake him up.

[00:11:51] So what I decided was to just get out of bed and then talk to her.

[00:11:56] She was just a few steps away from me, just a few inches away.

[00:12:01] And I was about to actually tap her on her shoulder.

[00:12:06] But she was walking too fast.

[00:12:10] So as we were walking out of my parents' room, and then by the time she got into my room, my bedroom door was closed.

[00:12:22] So instinctively, I just opened it.

[00:12:27] By the time I opened the door, the lights were off.

[00:12:30] And so I was like, why is the lights off?

[00:12:34] So I decided to turn it on.

[00:12:36] By the time I turned it on, my mom wasn't in the room.

[00:12:40] I wasn't freaked out.

[00:12:42] I was just confused.

[00:12:44] I was like, why is she not there?

[00:12:47] I'm like, where did she go?

[00:12:49] And in my head, it was logical for me to go to the front of the door and peep downstairs to check if my dad was there.

[00:12:57] Because usually if he would just smoke, he would either be outside the front door smoking or somewhere close to the stairs.

[00:13:06] So when I was checking, I couldn't hear the car engine anymore.

[00:13:12] I didn't see him.

[00:13:13] And when I took a peek at the front door, my phone started ringing.

[00:13:21] My phone was in the Kia 3210.

[00:13:24] And like I told you, my baby brother was sleeping.

[00:13:28] So it was really loud.

[00:13:29] I had to run and get to it so it wouldn't wake him up.

[00:13:34] And by the time I answered, I was like, oh, it was my mom.

[00:13:37] So she said that they were going to be late.

[00:13:41] They had a couple more things to take care of.

[00:13:45] And they promised to buy takeout and have dinner together.

[00:13:50] And when she explained that they were going to be late, I told her, that's weird.

[00:13:56] I followed you going to my room.

[00:14:00] And she was like, what are you saying?

[00:14:01] I thought you were home.

[00:14:02] I followed someone who looked exactly like you going from my parents or your room going to my room.

[00:14:10] And then you were gone.

[00:14:11] I heard the car.

[00:14:12] I heard dad.

[00:14:13] Everything.

[00:14:14] You were just gone.

[00:14:15] And then they were like, it could be an angel watching over you guys, you know, since you're home alone.

[00:14:21] I was like, okay, fine.

[00:14:23] And then we had dinner that night.

[00:14:26] And then she was asking me details of what happened.

[00:14:30] I told her I'm not lying.

[00:14:32] Telling the truth.

[00:14:33] That's what happened.

[00:14:34] And I heard her whisper, she's seeing stuff too.

[00:14:41] And that's when it all started for me.

[00:14:46] Seeing a lot of stuff and experiencing a lot of stuff.

[00:14:50] So, yeah, that's for me tonight.

[00:14:53] Thanks, Michelle.

[00:14:54] See you again next time.

[00:15:00] Thanks for sharing, Yvonne.

[00:15:02] Keep them coming.

[00:15:04] In Western culture, a doppelganger is a mysterious exact double of a living person.

[00:15:09] It's a German word that literally translates to double walker or double goer.

[00:15:18] Traditionally, they've been viewed as sinister or evil entities.

[00:15:21] Seeing a doppelganger has also been considered an omen of misfortune or bad luck.

[00:15:26] But modern reports of doppelgangers show, while sometimes mischievous,

[00:15:31] they seem to be neither sinister nor evil, nor do they bring bad luck.

[00:15:35] They just seem to be going about their business as if they are normal human beings.

[00:15:40] Kind of like you said, a glitch in the Matrix.

[00:15:44] We attribute the success.

[00:15:47] Your guide to Betty.

[00:15:50] Next message.

[00:15:55] All right, I'm going to tell my ghost story.

[00:15:57] Hi.

[00:15:57] Hi, I'm Liz.

[00:15:59] I live in Brooklyn, New York.

[00:16:01] But this is a story of a far, far off place.

[00:16:05] A haunted mansion.

[00:16:07] A hotel.

[00:16:08] We'll keep the name anonymous for the sake of the owners and the people involved in this story.

[00:16:14] I will also keep my friend's name anonymous who's in this story.

[00:16:18] We will be calling him David.

[00:16:22] Well, we are headed to this haunted mansion to photograph.

[00:16:27] Because it's a hotel.

[00:16:28] And it was opening up.

[00:16:30] They needed new photos.

[00:16:31] My friend's friends with the owners.

[00:16:35] Yada, yada.

[00:16:35] Yada.

[00:16:37] So we get to this place.

[00:16:38] And it is gorgeous.

[00:16:39] It's stunning.

[00:16:41] It truly, truly looks like the haunted mansion from Disneyland.

[00:16:45] Like, we're just like, what is this place?

[00:16:47] And we're getting the tour.

[00:16:49] We're getting the history.

[00:16:51] And the history is already, like, creepy.

[00:16:53] I don't know when it was built.

[00:16:55] 1700s, 1800s.

[00:16:56] But they're like, yeah, it was like a family.

[00:16:59] And they had tons of kids.

[00:17:01] But then they would adopt all the orphan kids in the, like, area and all this stuff.

[00:17:06] We're like, ugh, you're creepy.

[00:17:08] Okay.

[00:17:08] And my friend and I, David, when we get together, we elevate each other's crazy and woo-woo witchy vibes.

[00:17:17] Like, we become psycho.

[00:17:19] So, like, we play off each other and it's a recipe for disaster when the two of us are put in a haunted mansion together.

[00:17:29] So, we show up to this place.

[00:17:30] We're getting the tour.

[00:17:31] And then we're like, gorgeous, gorgeous.

[00:17:34] And then the person shows David where he's going to be staying.

[00:17:38] And David just, like, we walk in the room and both of us get, like, ick feeling.

[00:17:45] And he, like, looks at me like, fuck no.

[00:17:49] And then he kind of, we're still like, oh, beautiful, beautiful.

[00:17:52] But, you know, he looks at me and I know, like, he's feeling something gross.

[00:17:55] But we're not saying it in front of, like, the owner because we're, like, still trying to save face.

[00:18:00] Anyways, I'm staying in a separate room in a separate building because there's, like, a lot of buildings on this property.

[00:18:06] But he's in the haunted mansion on the very top floor.

[00:18:10] Anyways, we say goodbye to the owner after we get our tour.

[00:18:14] And we're like, David's, like, to me, he's like, oh, my God, did you feel the energy in that room?

[00:18:20] That room is haunted as fuck.

[00:18:22] And I was like, absolutely.

[00:18:24] He's like, let's go back in and see if we still feel it when it's just the two of us.

[00:18:28] I'm like, absolutely.

[00:18:30] So, we go up there and I'm just like, yuck.

[00:18:33] I just, like, feel gross.

[00:18:34] And I instantly point to this corner and I was like, that corner is where all the, like, bad energy is coming from.

[00:18:39] And I can just feel it.

[00:18:44] Well, luckily, David happens to be dating a medium at the time.

[00:18:49] Perfect for us.

[00:18:50] So, we call his medium boyfriend.

[00:18:55] And the medium boyfriend, like, he put on speaker and we're like, oh, my God, we are in the haunted space.

[00:19:01] And he's like, oh, my God.

[00:19:02] He's like, I can feel it all.

[00:19:04] He's like, it's coming through.

[00:19:05] There's tons of voices.

[00:19:06] He's like, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.

[00:19:07] He's like, I can't even, he's like, I can't even concentrate.

[00:19:10] He's like, oh, there's a man in that corner over there as we're, like, FaceTiming.

[00:19:15] We hadn't even told him I felt it there.

[00:19:16] And the boyfriend's like, yeah, there's a man in that corner.

[00:19:19] He's like, he's not great, actually.

[00:19:22] He's like, that's kind of really dark spirit.

[00:19:24] And we're like, yeah, we can tell.

[00:19:27] And then the boyfriend's getting all this other information and downloading from the property.

[00:19:32] But he's like, oh, he's like, there is tons of spirits and activity going on at this place.

[00:19:38] He's like, oh, he's like, there's people buried on this property.

[00:19:42] He's like, there's people buried that were murdered on the property.

[00:19:46] And he's like, it's really, like, heartfelt.

[00:19:48] And he's like, oh, it's sad.

[00:19:49] He's like, they're sad.

[00:19:51] And they're like, no one's ever, like, brought us flowers.

[00:19:55] Or, like, even, for that matter, knows where they're buried.

[00:19:58] Or that they are buried there.

[00:20:00] Or that they were murdered.

[00:20:01] Yada, yada.

[00:20:02] Again, we're taking advice of the medium.

[00:20:05] We don't know if it's real.

[00:20:06] But we wholeheartedly believe everything he's saying at this point.

[00:20:09] So he's like, I think a really nice gesture that the two of you could do is, like, maybe go buy flowers tomorrow at the store and go lay them on the grave of the people.

[00:20:23] And we're like, we don't know where they're buried.

[00:20:25] He's like, you'll know.

[00:20:26] You'll find it.

[00:20:27] And we're like, yeah, we will.

[00:20:30] Obviously, we're witches.

[00:20:31] And so we get off the phone.

[00:20:33] At that point, David's like, I'm not sleeping in that room.

[00:20:37] And I'm like, obviously.

[00:20:38] You're sleeping in my room.

[00:20:39] I have two beds.

[00:20:40] This is perfect.

[00:20:41] So we, like, move all his stuff to my room.

[00:20:44] Because we're like, we are not going in that room.

[00:20:47] So we're still scared.

[00:20:48] We call back the medium boyfriend.

[00:20:50] And we're like, oh, what's going on?

[00:20:53] Are we safe?

[00:20:56] He's like, oh, yeah.

[00:20:57] He's like, you have two more spirits with you now.

[00:21:00] He's like, I think it's like a woman and a younger girl.

[00:21:03] Maybe like a mom and daughter.

[00:21:05] But like two women.

[00:21:07] But he's like, they're really good.

[00:21:09] And they keep saying that.

[00:21:13] He's like, it's kind of like they're protecting you.

[00:21:15] And he's like, they keep saying they don't let the man in this house.

[00:21:20] And they refer to the man, which is the person we felt on the third floor.

[00:21:24] And he's like, they all are referring to him as the man.

[00:21:27] And like this bad man.

[00:21:28] And they're all like protecting this house from him.

[00:21:31] And they're protecting you.

[00:21:33] And then the medium's like, Liz, she keeps saying something about your cheek.

[00:21:40] And like, she keeps referring to your cheek and stuff.

[00:21:44] And I was like, well, I just got done gua shying.

[00:21:48] For anyone who doesn't know what gua shying is, it's a Chinese stone used to drain your lymph nodes.

[00:21:56] And you do it on your face.

[00:21:57] So I just got done doing my nighttime routine of gua shying.

[00:22:02] So then I was like, I was just gua shying.

[00:22:05] Was she watching me gua sha and wondering?

[00:22:08] I'm sure she's never seen that in old timey days.

[00:22:11] Anyway, so then we get off the phone.

[00:22:13] We're still freaked out.

[00:22:14] We're like, cool, there's still ghosts in here.

[00:22:16] But they seem to be protecting us.

[00:22:18] And then I was like, in the bathroom.

[00:22:21] And I was like, okay, like ghosts.

[00:22:23] I was like, this is what a gua sha is.

[00:22:26] It's for, and then David starts chiming in.

[00:22:30] And we're both just in the bathroom talking out loud, explaining to a ghost what a gua sha is.

[00:22:36] And I was like, have we gone crazy?

[00:22:40] We're just in here explaining facial treatments to ghosts.

[00:22:48] I did not sleep at all, barely that first night.

[00:22:51] I mean, to be honest, we actually got into the same bed because I was like, we're both so scared.

[00:22:58] And then David does like, okay, I'm going to put a protective aura bubble over us to protect us from the ghosts and spirits.

[00:23:06] And we're like, we don't want you here.

[00:23:08] Please leave us alone.

[00:23:10] I don't know what we were saying.

[00:23:11] We're just like, ghosts go away.

[00:23:13] Let us sleep.

[00:23:14] Whatever.

[00:23:15] We're just freaked out.

[00:23:17] Then the next day, I'm texting my best friend about this because I know she loves all ghosty stuff.

[00:23:22] And I tell her how we have to get these ghosts like flowers.

[00:23:25] She's like, oh, lilies.

[00:23:26] And I was like, okay, I don't know if we're going to get lilies or if they're at the store.

[00:23:30] But yeah, okay, whatever.

[00:23:31] So she says lilies.

[00:23:32] It's on our mind.

[00:23:33] We're like, okay, whatever.

[00:23:34] So we go to the store the next day.

[00:23:36] We get daffodils.

[00:23:37] There's no lilies.

[00:23:38] But then we get out of the car and we're like, okay, where are we going to go lay these flowers?

[00:23:45] And all of a sudden, we see all these lilies planted.

[00:23:48] And then it's like by a garden.

[00:23:50] And then the lilies lead into the forest.

[00:23:53] And we go through this clearing and there's this big, like, there's, like, it just felt like that's where they were.

[00:24:00] Like, there's this big grove of lilies.

[00:24:02] Calla lilies, I believe.

[00:24:04] Like, one on each side.

[00:24:05] Or right away, we're like, there's three bodies here.

[00:24:07] There's three bodies there.

[00:24:09] We're just like, this is where they are.

[00:24:11] They're buried here.

[00:24:12] Okay.

[00:24:13] Like, let's put the flowers down.

[00:24:14] We say some words for these, like, ghost babies that are buried here and hopefully put them at peace.

[00:24:22] We do the thing.

[00:24:23] We're very, like, we got this.

[00:24:26] David was freaking out.

[00:24:27] He is like, oh, my God, I'm putting so much seeds with the flowers going into the forest and laying them on graves where people are buried.

[00:24:34] I'm like, doesn't matter.

[00:24:36] We're doing it.

[00:24:37] We're not even working right now.

[00:24:38] We had to go to the store to get flowers.

[00:24:39] We should be shooting all this stuff.

[00:24:41] And we're like, ghost duty.

[00:24:43] We're like, we got to make sure this place is sound.

[00:24:48] The medium also was like, go back in that room and put a flower in that room or the corner where you feel like the spirit and stuff.

[00:24:56] And we're like, okay, okay, okay.

[00:24:57] We'll do everything you tell us.

[00:24:59] And so then we, like, go back up to the third floor room where his, like, we felt a dark spirit.

[00:25:05] And I was like, you go in there by yourself.

[00:25:08] I honestly, that room creeped me out.

[00:25:10] I was like, I don't want to go in that room.

[00:25:11] I make David go do it.

[00:25:12] I'm like, I'm not going in there.

[00:25:13] You go put the flowers.

[00:25:16] I'm staying out here.

[00:25:20] And at this point, I'm getting in the sense that David knows a little bit more about that spirit in the room, but he's not telling me.

[00:25:26] And then he tells me he does no more.

[00:25:27] And he's like, I'm not going to tell you till we leave this property.

[00:25:32] And then we do feel an ease after that.

[00:25:35] Like, the property felt lighter.

[00:25:38] The next night, I could sleep.

[00:25:43] And we're like, we, they should thank us, like the owners.

[00:25:47] Because we asked the owners, too.

[00:25:48] We're like, so did you do any, did you do any exorcisms and all cleansing the space?

[00:25:55] And they're like, oh, yeah, we hired a bunch of people.

[00:25:57] And they all came in.

[00:25:59] And then, like, you know, David and they're like, well, they didn't do shit because this place is crawling with spirits and ghosts.

[00:26:07] But whatever.

[00:26:08] We did all the hard work.

[00:26:10] We knew where the bodies were buried.

[00:26:11] We put the flowers down.

[00:26:13] So then we leave.

[00:26:14] And we're like, all right, we did good things.

[00:26:16] We may have been crazy, but whatever.

[00:26:19] We don't care.

[00:26:20] Too many weird coincidences.

[00:26:21] And then David tells me as we're leaving, the thing that his boyfriend had explained to him is that, and like with the history of the place.

[00:26:33] So, like, they would adopt all these children.

[00:26:36] And basically, like, there was, like, the dark history of the place was, like, the children that they would adopt were almost like child labor.

[00:26:45] Like, it wasn't, like, a good situation.

[00:26:47] And supposedly this man that was up in the house was murdering them and torturing them and other horrible things.

[00:26:57] And they were all children that were killed in there.

[00:27:00] Do we know if this is true or not?

[00:27:02] No.

[00:27:02] This is hypothetical.

[00:27:04] This is what the spirits came through and said.

[00:27:06] That's supposedly who was buried there.

[00:27:08] But there is proof that there was some bad, shady shit happening with the owners and the kids when it was going on.

[00:27:15] So we do know something.

[00:27:16] And I know that before this mansion was resold, they used to, like, they would sell it as a haunted mansion.

[00:27:27] Like, that's how white people would come and stay there.

[00:27:29] So, yeah.

[00:27:30] Some stuff's gone down.

[00:27:32] So, yeah.

[00:27:33] He said that that was the man and that he was there and he's the one that's responsible for all the kids and stuff.

[00:27:38] But he only, like, girls, little girls.

[00:27:39] So I guess when we were in the room, he said something about, like, I don't want anything to do with him.

[00:27:44] It's just her I want.

[00:27:45] Which was me at the time.

[00:27:47] Which is why I was, I think, like, wouldn't go back in that room.

[00:27:50] I really wouldn't go back in that room the rest of the time I was there.

[00:27:52] It was so gross and disgusting.

[00:27:57] But, you know, I didn't.

[00:27:59] I think we did our work.

[00:28:02] That's it.

[00:28:03] Yeah.

[00:28:03] We put flowers down for baby children and we slept in the same bed.

[00:28:13] And we explained to ghosts what a gua sha is.

[00:28:17] And it was scary.

[00:28:19] But we lived to tell about it.

[00:28:23] Thank you, Liz, for telling your story.
